(April and May 2021)
We are delighted to see the vaccine rollout is well underway and hope that we will be able to safely meet in person again in early summer. Due to the third Ontario lockdown, we stopped meeting for walks in April and May, and shifted our meetings to Zoom! These one-on-ones with community members continue to provide us with insights into the lives and aspirations for the wider community of those who live, work, and visit Weston for a host of reasons. Thank you to everyone who has shared their thoughts and time with us.
Our project team is getting closer to the preferred concept design and anticipate we will be able to share this preliminary design with the community this summer! Our plan is to share the concept with the community prior to making any submission to the City of Toronto. It is important to us that we get your feedback because this landmark site in the heart of Weston will be a new centre for the community (not a community centre)!
